UAF CTC Revitalization Phase 4; Third Floor Renewal On Decemeber 6, 2010 AMI was awarded the prime contract to reconstruct and demolish a significant portion of the third floor interior of the UAF Community and Technical College building, located at 604 Barnette Street in Fairbanks, Alaska. Work includes selected demolition of existing walls, mechanical and electrical systems and construction of new classrooms and offices, including new walls and finishes, and structural, mechanical and electrical systems. |

ML&P Plant 1 Black Start Generator Replacement On January 13, 2011 ML&P awarded AMI the prime contract for the Plant 1 Black Start Generator Replacement. Work consists of providing a nominal, 2 MW generator; switchgear, UPS and battery backup systems, vertical cooling fan, ancillary mechanical and electrical equipment; construction of new generator building; excavation of contaminated soil and other related work. |

Ruth Burnett Sport Fish Hatchery On June 24, 2008 AMI was awarded the prime contract to construct the new Ruth Burnett Sport Fish Hatchery in Fairbanks, AK. We mobilized to site in mid July and scheduled completion is August, 2010. This facility has been designed to meet the stocking needs of the Fairbanks, Delta and Glennallen areas.
This facility is a 60,000SF multi level fish hatchery. Main components include: 1600GPM water treatment system (filtration & chemical); 1600GPM waste water treatment system; aquaculture system capable of raising five different species at the same time, all with varied requirements for water temperature and make up, population densities and other factors; biological and filtration based treatment system allowing up to 80% water recirculation; complete (automatic) back up power generation system; and duel fuel boilers. Integrated building and process control systems. |

Norton Sound Regional Hospital
This project includes the construction of an approximate 146,250 SF steel frame structure including 3 levels plus a mechanical penthouse. The building is located in Nome, Alaska on a 38.9 acre site. The replacement hospital will provide space and adequately support a modern, fully staffed health care delivery program including inpatient acute care and nursing and delivery (14 beds); endoscopy; outpatient surgery; ambulatory care; emergency and urgent care; ancillary for diagnostic imaging and laboratory; dental; optometry; audiology; respiratory and physical therapy; community health including public health nursing; nutrition; health education; alcoholism; environmental health; mental health and social services. AMI is the mechanical subcontractor to Neeser Construction. This proejct mobilized in April 2010 and is scheduled for completion in June 2012. |
